Today was the most amazing day of the mission trip. With this being my first mission trip I had no clue what to expect. This has turned out to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life. the people here have so little and yet they love so much and smile so much. they are so caring and thoughtful. I have really connected with one family in particular and they have changed my life forever. Today the mother teresa (mother of 5) told me that her oldest daughter Zinnea wanted me to take her back to the US with me. It broke my heart and yet made me feel so loved. I can't even begin to explain this experience to anyone. the only words that come to mind are love, life changing, and amazing! I love this family more than words can explain and I have only known them for 3 days! God has taught me that I am so blessed in so many ways! I have a loving family, a house, a car, air conditioning and yet the people here still seem to have a joy that comes from inside even though they have nothing. God is so real here. We were told that 90% of the people in the world live like the people here. that breaks my heart. I am inspired to live my life differently becuase of the people here. I can't wait to see what other amazing things God will do tomorrow and in the weeks to come. God has done amazing things not only through us this week but also IN us as a group. God is so good. I can't wait to get home and see my family and tell them all I have learned! :)

Belize is awesome! We have all had an amazing time and it is only day two. Yes, vacation bible school with all of the children gets very hectic and chaotic, but God is definintelty at work amongst all of us. He never fails to show up with those God moments that just keep you going and get you through the rest of the day. Today i was able to engage in a deep conversation with one of the teenage boys. We were just able to really talk and get to know each other without everyone else around us intruding. I have prayed that our relationship will continue to grow and I know that God has something awesome in store!
